I really like this one, where one can see the clouds just hovering above the cliff.

I enjoy photography, mountains, and cycling. Last summer I went on my first Ride Around Washington, RAW as it is called. What a great way to enjoy all three, and if you want a great ride, this one is totally awesome, 400+ miles in 6 days, we had super weather, got some cool shots too! The three I posted here were taken of a stormhead cloud over Naches on our last night, August 2008.

Fall weather from our front porch, Northcentral Washington:

More weather and scenery from home:

Some posts have included mountains, so here's another one:

And more pertinent, river view with balsamroot:

Lastly a pic with an actual bicycle in it:

These are all taken with a Pentax K10D. While none of them were taken on a ride, every scene can be found on a well known cycling route here in the PNW.

I took that pic after playing tennis with the wife at the park. She plays in a league and I'm not a hard core player but it's fun. I was jealously ckecking out the riders pulling in, but in order for me to put in some good long rides I have to keep the wife happy with her interets.

Tell us that in February when we haven't seen the sun for 8 weeks or more and its dark at 4:00pm and doesn't get light till 9:00am
. I know its great now but oh are we gonna pay for it come the winter. Oh lordy I dread that, which is why I'm riding every chance I get right now.
