Did some riding on the Southern Oregon Coast. Not much of a photog but here are a few pictures of my ride out to Cape Argo park and back.

I really like this one, where one can see the clouds just hovering above the cliff.

Bikes: 2007 Wilier Izoard, Trek 2800.

I enjoy photography, mountains, and cycling. Last summer I went on my first Ride Around Washington, RAW as it is called. What a great way to enjoy all three, and if you want a great ride, this one is totally awesome, 400+ miles in 6 days, we had super weather, got some cool shots too! The three I posted here were taken of a stormhead cloud over Naches on our last night, August 2008.

These are all taken with a Pentax K10D. While none of them were taken on a ride, every scene can be found on a well known cycling route here in the PNW.

Golden Gardens in Seattle:

One of the many fields at the Skagit Valley Tulip Festival:

Lake Washington Boulevard near Lake View Park:

A favorite house of mine just off 8th Ave NW in Ballard:

I took that pic after playing tennis with the wife at the park. She plays in a league and I'm not a hard core player but it's fun. I was jealously ckecking out the riders pulling in, but in order for me to put in some good long rides I have to keep the wife happy with her interets.

I would rather have 4 months of dark and wet in Portland then 12 months of sun in L.A. I stand by what I said...We are lucky!
