    Maybe just a silver chainring.

    And yes, a dummy hood.

Just built this, Retrogression Excel, I've been slowly building up to this point and the only change I'm looking at now is new wheels. Other than that I'm so happy with this build and I've been trying to ride it every day.

This is a shot my friend did as part of his portfolio, we used a grid on his flash and basically painted the bike and 40-50 shots later got this after it was layered together.

Little less dramatic shot of it.

I'm digging 48-16 so far, and I'm riding it fixed out of laziness of installing the rear brake currently. Either way, have a go at it, I love it though! Someone snatch up the last Retrogression Excel, this was the last white one and such a steal at $90!!!

I would never put a Brooks, a pursuit bar, and platform pedals on the same bike. My Venn diagram of bikes doesn't have any of those overlapping, actually.

TS Isaac road frame, originally built for the 1980 US Olympic team; currently built up with a mix of Campy Super Record and Zeus 2000 components. Homemade road bike, Columbus SL frame built with Zeus Criterium/2000 components. Several others-no room

I don't know. My old "Superbe" came stock with a Brooks saddle (B-66) and platform pedals:

Why no Brooks? Maybe not a B17 with that much saddle/bar drop but other models are appropriate

Something about leather and rivets with a drop bullhorn just doesn't sit right with me.

I personally don't like how your bars are angled. Plus imo you could murder it out more. But that's a personal preference.

    nicely put.

it's only one or two component swaps away from some sweet setups.

I need a Carradice bag and I hope my brown Brooks looks that good in the future.

    I don't like that there's no shellac

Shellac would mess with the leather...

Saddle is a Lycette "L'Avenir" which was a sub brand of Brooks and believe these were sold in the French market... it is very nicely made and equal to any Brooks.

Your saddle looks tilted back a bit. Unless you prefer that. I like mine flat.

    Gotcha.

We're all just jealous of the helmet you know; just the helmet.
