I made kind of the same mount except I added a reflector in the middle. The Cateyes slide into the same type brackets that Adam has on his.

I was wondering if any other lights may have the same type of brackets.

Thank you! It's always better to have a picture. I just bought two new superflashes to mount on the back of my new xtracycle build, but might go ahead and install them on my wife's bike as you describe.

That mount is a DIY hack. It's the T-shaped part that comes with the Topeak rack. I bought some cheap lights on Deal Extreme a while ago and they have exactly the same attachment brackets as Planet Bike lights or you can hack the ones that came with your lights too, but I kept them, just in case. The lights are basically a PB Superflash ripoffs.

So I cut off the parts from the light brackets that the lights clip into and glued two of these using epoxy to the T-part. You will need to drill holes in the T-bracket to bolt it to the rack like this.

That's nice. You should line up a supplier and sell those.

It's a pleasure to ride, feels like a big bmx bike! Before anyone comments, I realize my seat is low, I know this and have no intentions of raising it. After 20 years on a bmx bike I almost never sit down!

I had SE Draft once as a commuter, 2008 I think, the frame was actually made by Fuji. The ride was smooth, it was a steel frame, but it had lots of problems with wheels and drivetrain: cheap, weak parts. I ended up replacing pretty much everything on that bike, about $400 worth. Then I sold it as I never warmed up to the SS thing.

I'd put a brake up front, personally - the front gives you about 70% of your braking.

My commuter is an old Bridgestone MB-1 frame/fork. 180mm XT cranks, 48/36 chainrings, Blackburn racks, SKS fenders.

What is the brand of the epoxy, I have had hobby shops and even a plastic company tell me that type of plastic will never stick to any epoxy. I want to make the PB mount and mount cellphone clip to it to hold my iPhone. I think it would work well. But I need to right epoxy.

Also I run a PBSF and a PBSF Turbo on the back of my rack. and would like to make something more like that.

Here is my brand "new" commuting Winter Bike. It is a rusty dark blue Raleigh Challenger, circa 198X and I like It as if it had always been mine.

I know that spring is coming and that I will take good care of it before putting him to rest for a couple of months.
