I have a couple of documentary films on DVD that are worth watching...

Road to Roubaix, directed by David Deal and Dave Cooper, 2008. An in-depth film about...you guessed it, Paris-Roubaix. Well-made, and very interesting.

    and

Overcoming, directed by Tomas Gislason, 2005. Follows the CSC team as they prepare for the TdF, with plenty of Bjarne Riis, Ivan Basso, Carlos Sastre, Jens Voigt, and others from that year's team. My copy came with a bonus disc, full of great stuff. This one is well worth tracking down, if you can find it.

B.I.K.E. (Stands for "Be Inclusive, Kill Exclusivity) is a pretty entertaining dime-store documentary about the Black Label Society crusty hipster club in NYC circa 2003-04, just a few years before the words "hipster" and "fixie" were seen in the New York Times. Its well put together, and all of the characters are highly entertaining.

Macaframa and MASH SF are also documentaries, but more in the "hey, we think this super simple thing we do is really awesome, so let's put ourselves up on a pedestal and film it" sort of sense, which makes them both very entertaining in the same way that something like Jersey Shore is entertaining. That is to say, if you get a kick out of laughing at other people, then they're for you.

Chasing Legends is a great documentary about the Tour de France. It gives you a great behind the scenes look at professional cycling

Donnie Darko seems to have a decent amount of biking in it. I'm not a huge fan of the movie though.

watched Eddy Merckx - The Greatest Show on Earth (1974 Giro)

on Youtube. Was pretty entertaining, and had some great riding scenes. The fast descents looked like a blast especially in the fog!
