    Anyone have experience with Wiggle

Tried a search but did not find any feedback on this British company. prices seem good and free shipping to US is a plus - unless its a month's long process.
    thanks in advance

My order was fine. I bought some 3T ergosum bars.. clearly stated they were backordered.. which was fine. Got on a list so when they came in i'd be set. Few weeks later they sent an email and shipped them and i think it was like 10 days from UK to RI

I have experience of them, however I am in the UK, they are very good so they should also be good overseas.

I can vouch for them, since I've been working with another site that has an extensive affiliate agreement with them.

I ordered a Fizik seat on a Wednesday and got it shipped to CA the following Monday. Crazy good service. ProBikeKit is the same, ordered a set of Contis 4000s on Monday and got it on Sat, shipped from the UK. Amazing.

Both places are great, but Wiggle gives free shipping at a lower purcahse price... So if you're spending a good amount check both places for the best deal including the free shippping

I just ordered a bike from wiggle. I live berlin and had them ship it here. Customer service was excellent, and their quoted 3-5 day shipping was spot on. Shipped out on a wed, and i had it on monday. Was excellently padded and packed, and when i assembled it, the bike only need a few minor adjustments. i would gladly order from them again. Plus the bonus 58 euros in free parts rocked.

I have placed one order with them, and I had no problems. Shipping for some small parts from the UK to Pennsylvania was one week.

Some people in the Road forum have expressed concerns about credit card processing through companies in the UK. You may want to use a "one time use" credit card number, but that's probably a good idea for shopping on-line in general.

UK has nothing to do with it. Nor Wiggle. Lately a lot of accusations have been made in Road and elsewhere in BF that Nashbar, Performance, <fill in a web shop name> compromise CC security. I've yet to see any facts that back up that claim. Instead, there is the well publicized case of one major payment processing company that had a security breach. For some reason it gets frequently ignored. Maybe it's cooler to bash the big name companies instead of some obscure back office. Obscure to consumers, that is.

CC payments always have a certain risk associated to them, both in Internet and in real life (tm). If someone is not willing to take that risk, then they should not use CCs to begin with.

Ordered hubs. They arrived in NorCal just 4 days later. Pretty impressive service, price and product selection. I would definitely buy from them again!

    Cheers,

I know this is an old thread but...

In Mid-July I placed an order with Wiggle for several items, including a Carradice Barley Saddle Bag and bag support. While I have received everything else I ordered, including the bag support, I still haven't received the Carradice bag, 5 months later. I suppose my frustration is compounded by the fact that they continue to take orders on these bags yet haven't had any in stock for months. Once a month their website says that stock is expected within thirty days, and encourages people to place more orders for the item.

If it weren't for this crazy, lengthy delay, I would be very satisfied with Wiggle. But as of now, I would not recommend them to anyone, as I believe this to be a piss-poor business practice.

Now that Christmas is on it's way, there is no chance that I will be able to get a similar bag from anyone before the new year.

    Just had to whine....

Have you spoken to them? If not, do so, I'm sure they will offer and explanation or refund.

I have been contacting them twice a month since Sept, they are definitely aware of the situation. For the most part they have been very nice, but after a while, "I'm sorry for the delay" doesn't mean much anymore, especially when every two weeks they say they will get the product in two weeks.

I guess I could cancel the order, but I feel too invested to do it now.

Wiggle ships promptly and provides fast service to Middle Earth. A couple of years ago I bought Ortleib panniers and a handlebar bag. This year I bought 6 Marathon 20" tires, a multi-tool and a book. Everytime the price was very competitive and shipping was great. No problem in dealing with customs and their duty/fee/payment. :-)

how well do they deal w/ returns? Geniuses they are sent me not one but two wrong items. I'm not getting prompt email replies, and starting to get hesitant about wasting 50 bucks to ship this thing back and hope that they actually refund the shipping cost.

edit: took several emails to get everything straightened out, but I did get my shipment cost back and the proper item reshipped. Not the best experience but it didn't quite kill me either.
