    This bike was bought as-is
The seat is believed to be from the mid 80's and is cushioned for riding
This Beautiful All Stock 1974 Racing Bike is an absolute joy to ride and comes from an era of the most iconic biking frames to date.
All Stock parts, Fully Working and Extremely Rare, this bike has a super-thin ALL STEEL frame, granting extreme durability, and riding comfort.
Be looked at by all as you pass by on a Bike from a POLO Ralph Lauren commercial.
You will develop a relationship with the friction shifters as you shift by "feel" OR place this beautiful piece on a display shelf in a museum. It's Your Choice, WILL NOT SELL TO A SCRAPPER, Only Someone who will LOVE this Bike as I have loved it, firmly worth 500

firmly worth $500, but he wants $600 for it.
Punctuation is important. It's the difference between "I helped my uncle, Jack, off a horse" and "I helped my uncle Jack off a horse"

I have a special edition Guerciotti road bike for sale.
    I believe its about 82cm.
I'm 5'11'' and it fits me great.
Seat can be raised and lowered quite a bit.
    Campagnolo brakes, derailers, and forks.
Also have original Campagnolo bike pump.
Barely used Continental tires on Mavic rims.
Recently had bars re-taped, as well as bike serviced and greased with Campagnolo grease,
I'll include the rest of the bottle.
Also have an extra set of rims, one's a Mavic, the other an Ambrosia Synthesis.
Tires on the extra set need to be replaced.
Look clip in pedals, and Performance clip in shoes size 11.
GREAT BIKE! Only selling because I don't have the time to ride it anymore.

Only negative is the small chunk of foam missing from the seat. You can see it in the picture.
I'm located in Klamath Falls, but will be in the Medford/Grants Pass area on May 15th.
    Asking $1,300 obo.

The top tube is 58cm, and the seat tube is 60cm. the rear wheel is a generic rim and fixed hub, it is flip flop. It only has the fixed cog and dosen't have a free wheel. there are no brakes. the bars are not drop, they are an older mustache type bar. i can put drops on if wanted. firm on the price and no trades! thanks for looking.

I'm no expert on sand blasting but wouldn't it take off some rust? At least we know it will clean off.

    60CM ROAD BIKE FRAME
THIS FRAME HAS BEEN SAND BLASTED TO BARE STEEL AND NOT REPAINTED. LITTLE SURFACE RUST THAT WILL CLEAN OFF. THERE IS ONE SMALL DING AS SEEN IN THE LAST PHOTO.

That is a lot more than surface "flash rust" after having been blasted. It has been quite a while since it was sand blasted. To add insult to injury the ham-fisted person who blasted it eroded the brazing around the lugs with over blasting and most probably weakened the frame. You should be able to see the brazing all around the joint between the tubes and the lugs. I would not invest any time or money in that frame.

A hipster ass frame for hipsters - $200 (Staunton)

    Hey hipsters,

I wonder if you guys even exist here in the Shenandoah Valley. I haven't seen one since I moved back. Well, hopefully some hipster will be out there reading this.

I have this sweet 1978 ALAN bicycle frame made my guerciotti. It's pretty darn light but I don't like the ride because I'm 200 lbs.

Unlike all you hipsters who drink 50 cups of black coffee and then get your daily sustenance from a two four of PBR, I take protein supplements to help train for triathalons.

In other words, this frame would be great for anyone under 170 pounds and around 5'10" to 6'2".

It's a pretty gnarly frame bro! It has a campagnolo bottom bracket and headset. And did I mention that its ANODIZED GOLD! Freakin' Gold man. Because you're a hipster you don't have
many shiny things. Let this be it. It's an ALAN which stands for ALuminum ANodized and only about 50 were made per year. This one's a Super Record which has beefier tubes also so it makes a decent commuter. There's no braze -ons to snag your jeans or messenger bag (Why would it snag your skinny girl jeans anyway?) Would make a great bike to get back and forth from studying your liberal arts classes.

Well, I don't really have any pics of it because my camera sucks but just text 540-292-2171 and I'll show you some pics.

But this is what it kinda looks like. I believe it's the more vibrant gold color below.

It is in pretty good shape

    http://www.ebay.com/itm/Motobecane-N...7#ht_500wt_949

This is on old Motobecane Nomade. It is likely from the early 80's or late 70's. It is in pretty good shape, but would need a good washing. It could also use new tires, new seat, and some basic maintenance. I will not ship. Local pickup only. I will contact winner with address and contact info. Feel free to ask questions. Happy bidding!

I'd buy that Moto if it was local. The price is about right. I had a 74 (I think) Mirage. Nice frame for a builder.

As you say the price on that one is not bad. I still think he ought to push the bikes as candidates for restoration rather than convincing folks that they are in "pretty good shape". He may have helped his case by simply taking the bikes to a car wash and blasting off the dust and mud. Very few bicycles benefit from having a "patina", so clean them up before you try to sell them.
