Computers received from unworthy1... quickly, packaged well. Even if I wasn't so pleased with the give away price and had paid a reasonable price, I would still be very happy with the transaction.

Unfortunately, I always seem to find myself full of Cinelli (and a lone Nitto) stems in excess of 100mm. As for the bars, I generally find them w/o grooves. Cuda2k nabbed the only grooved (dual, as a matter of fact) Cinelli bars I had.

I've had good dealings with Robbietunes, Cyclotoine, and TimCuprey. There was one more BF member from a couple of years ago, but I can't remember his name. If I do, I'll change this post.
My dealings with TimCuprey have been substantial and always excellent.

I've got to ditto back to roccobike. We trade well, and he's picked up a set of wheels and a mixte for me when the CL "race" was on.

Besides that, we're both amazingly handsome, supremely intelligent, and our kids are well-behaved.

I have to add junkfoodjunkie to the list as well. We were discussing a trade, and in the end he offered to just mail me the seatpost I was looking for free of charge, and he wouldn't even let me cover the shipping!

I've had good experiences with everyone I've dealt with. Sadly, my mind is gone and I can't remember all of them.

I know I've dealt with Rotharpunc, txvintage, miamijim, 23skidoo, cyclotoine... Hmmm. That's all my brain will spew out at the moment. If you've been involved in a swap/sale with me and I haven't mentioned you, let me know.

Excellent trade with Robbietunes. He sent me a wonderful Tange 1 Terry. Just got the bike today it looks great. It was a model of fine packing, and I still can't believe he was so generous. Next time, I will have to put a few cherries on top on my end.

I have yet to have a transaction with anybody on BF go south, kind of encompasses everyone, to date.

My most recent victims are banjo_mole and 6erweb, I think...and afilado has always been a source of advice and an example of how to do it right.

Actually, I owe JunkYardBike something, anything...though I think I have a decal he maybe could use.....Patrick, could you use one of these?

It should also be mentioned that Afilado also provided some encouragement and research material for my Schwinn project. His beautiful Circuit, actually. Shipped quickly, and packed exceptionally.

+1 Afialdo is a great guy! I have too many to list but most all of my transactions on the forums have been great. A few that come to mind are:
    Banjo-mole
    Junkyardbike
    Cudak888
    Robbietunes
    yellowjeep
    Miamijim
    23skiddo
    Oldfatguy
Like I said, too many to list. Some day I will go through my pms and list everyone... maybe not.

Thanks for the kind words, but it should be known I was very reticent to sell. delicious twisted my arm...for months on end! Well, that may be an exaggeration, but he was persistent, and it paid off. I'll add he was very generous on his end of the transaction, and a pleasure to deal with.

You don't owe me anything, Rob. I don't have any immediate plans for a repaint, either. I'm sure you'll repaint another of these frames sooner than I will! If I ever need it, I'll get in touch with you, and if you don't have it, you've already done the legwork getting the designs to JR. That's payment enough.

Only had one transaction with a BF member so far, and that was with Iowegian.

I traded my old first generation STI brifters for his 8-speed Chorus RR derailleur. The derailleur was great, but to hear him talk it was only so-so. It was a real pleasure dealing with him.

I have had great experiences with everyone here both buying and selling lots of odds and ends, except for one 'person' I do not think he is a 'regular' member

he offered me a very nice Bianchi (see C&V evaluation) and I agreed to the price he set knowing the bike was worth between 400 to 900 depending on the buyer. he then decided to sell to someone else but said he would call me again if the sale did not go through. now the bike is on ebay, starting at 400 I contacted himeand he wants 800 plus I have to purchase another bike for 150.
    Bianchis '87 Sport SX, '90 Proto (2), '91 Boarala 'cross, '93 Project 3, '88 Trofeo, '86 Volpe, '89 Axis, '79 Mixte, '99 Mega Pro XL Ti, '97 Ti Megatube, , '90 something Vento 603, 87 Mondiale for sale, '88 Grizzly sold

Others but still loved,; '80 RIGI, '80 Batavus Professional, '87 Cornelo, '86 Bertoni (sold), '09 Motobecane SS, '98 Hetchins M.O., '09 K2 Mainframe, '9? Univega Rover 304 Sold , '89 Trek 2000, '?? Jane Doe (still on the drawing board)

I have had good luck with afilado and cyclotoine. Both are very knowledgable and helpful. Plus, both were patient while I made up my mind to purchase from them. Cyclotoine was overly cautious in his description of a seatpost, so it came to me in better condition than expected. I like that!

Not being a regular member I was hesitant at showing interest in some used items being sold by mkeller234. Not only did the transaction proceed smoothly, but I have to say the items (Brooks saddle and Shimano 600 RD) were in better than expected condition, packaged very well, and sent very promptly.

I ordered something three business days ealier from a location 1500 miles closer and it still isn't here. Kudos, mkeller234! Thanks for trusting the new guy!

Most excellent dealings here with Junkyardbike and 5cgm, but...

The Top Prize and A Tip O' The Doctor's Hat goes to Bianchigirll. Bought her Schwinn Tempo and it arrived today- impeccable condition, incredible packing job, absolutely TOP NOTCH, and shipping was the same price I;d pay through my shipping department. Awesome.

Nice to do business with people who care about doing this stuff right as much as I do.
