The "archeologist stories" are as classic as the bike is vintage!

handlebars need flipped...no white garage door...pedals aren't aligned to BF standards, neither are the valve stems...don't get me started on the chainrings being on the wrong side...

Left-hand chain and curved crankarms? Looks like the fixie riders and Hetchins were a couple thousand years too late.

If you look closely, you'll note that the front brake is a disk brake. Of much more import, the pedal predates an invention yet to be made, as it appears to be mounted on a free-rotating ring, itself mounted excentric on the crank. So the whole thing is one great hoax, because that bike is a copy of the Templaar Knight reproduction of Joan of Arc's bike recently excavated at Glastonbury.

It is nightmarishly ugly. In fact it may be the ugliest BSO* I've ever seen. Gives me the creeps.

I've been told that DT Swiss spokes are made in an old chain mail factory that has been in business for several hundred years.
