For sale, a '86 Schwinn Peloton (Columbus SL/SP mix for frame tubes), 21.5 inch frame. equipped with mostly Shimano 105 components, 7 speed cassette. Set up with riser bars for a more upright position. The paint has a lot of cosmetic wear from locking up, etc but the frame is chromed underneath so there is no issue with rust. New cartridge BB, rear wheel. Good city rider.

got this thing with plains to restore it a while back its a really cool bike and i love it but not enough to keep me from riding my free ride bike. need some parts for my free ride rig bad so its gotta go. hell im not selling because i don't like it i actually wanna see pics of it restored if you end up taking that path. its from my understanding all original aside from the grips front wheel rear derailer and tires. the bikes been in mass its hole life it was actually purchased at orleans cycles down the cape.

This bike is one of Raleigh's top of the line models around 30 years ago. It had all Campy fittings although some of those have been replaced with more modern units. It has a brand new set of aero wheels and Specialized tube type tires rather than the original sew-ups. It has one of the new design comfort seats, and best of all, a new frame. The Reynold's 531 Chrome Molybdenum frame broke and due to Raliegh's lifetime warranty on these models, the frame was replaced for free. I don't remember the size of the frame, but I was 5'-10" at the time I was riding it and it fit fine with adjustment room in both directions. Price is less than what one of the wheels cost. Call Harvey at 650 948-9050 for viewing appointment. We live on Skyline Blvd between Page Mill Rd and Hwy 9, but I can bring it to my workplace in Santa Clara as well.

i have a 1985 montello this was the top model made its 62.5cm has bottom bracket and headset and is green in color the columbus tubing is also top of the line very light and responsive i paid 300 for this frame without a B. bracket 3 months ago and i have seen this model sell for 500 frame only but i am in need of the cash. the pinnarellos from this era are known to have fragile paint jobs so some areas are rubbed off but alot of my friends like the way it looks i have no way to put up pics but i am willing to drive to you you can reach me at 503 253 2360 thanks Please do not text this number , it does not recieve text

Thanks for the plug Bob. Just noticed my Prestige is missing a pedal dust cap. Bummer. Most likely no one will use the pedals anyway. But everything else is like new on the bike.

What is it with Beantown and all these great CV bike deals? Is it just me or are there really better bike deals to be had in Boston? I haven't seen half as many cool CVs in NYCL for twice the price.

And a lot of them don't get sold. Just stay up. Some sell, most don't. Nobody posts here from the smaller cities. Have y'all checked the BOBishFS list? Somewhat different selection, but a lot geographic diversity.
