Rate the last movie you watched out of 10.
Bruno. I rate it -7 out of 10. It was crap.

After watching all of the tv ads, you had to watch it to rate it?
Hmm....
Harry Potter 6.
to this non-Potter fan, it was a 4.
"The Blues Brothers". (I know I'm 25 years late. But I don't watch a lot of anything)
I was disappointed. It was fun to watch those guys hamming it up again, but the story was childish and they didn't seem able to come up with any really funny jokes.
I give it a 2
(I'll have to give "Up in Smoke" a try one of these days. I'll bet Cheech and Chong did better.)
The Hurt Locker -- I'd rate it a 9. It was truly excellent.
Every Little Step - 9 It's in theaters now, worth a look, very good.
Those voices in your head aren't real, but they have some great ideas
Mr. Woodcock -- 4.
A Haunting in Connecticut -- 5.
The Unborn -- 3.
Horsemen -- 3.
Friday the 13th Final Cut -- 7.
2010 Orbea Orca
2008 Specialized Tarmac
"I'm toying with the idea of becoming a useful member of society."
Forever Young /jayme lee curtis ?10
The Fifth Element. 9.5
I'd say a 10 but I was very disappointed.

Those voices in your head aren't real, but they have some great ideas
Public Enemies - Depp and Bale are great. Excellent shoot out scenes. I generally like Michael Mann movies, but WTF was going on with the colour? Digitial video or something probably. 8/10
downfall (foreign flick) from a couple of years ago. 8.5-9.
the spoof on youtube with hitler skewering his generals about
losing his x-box account is a 10+ though![]()
The Killing room. 10/10
This is a low $$$, no name movie that is just twisted.

inglourious basterds-the new tarantino vehicle. 8.5-9
I'm giving Inglorious Basterds a 10 for now. It does exactly what it set out to do.
"Each and every man under my command owes me one hunnerd Natzi scalps. And I want my scalps."
(yeah, I know it's spelled "Nazi", but "Natzi" better conveys Lt. Aldo Raine's hillbilly accent)
priceless (hors du prix) with audrey tautou. the movie...a 7.
audrey...well the scorecard from this judge is identical to
the scores received by nadia comaneci in the 1976 olympics.
woof!
Two winners over the weekend:
Defiance :: 8/10 - I'd recommend it to anyone.
Valkyrie :: 8/10 - Same as above. I recommend spending the money to rent it.
For reference: I haven't seen a 10/10 movie since Saving Private Ryan was released.
X-Games 3D: Shallow, merely a retelling of X-Games two competitions ago (I think), nowhere near as awesome as Endless Summer (but what sports documentary movie is?). Worth a 7 just because the 3D effect makes the tricks look so goddamned HUGE. Don't bother renting it unless you can play it in 3D in your home.
The Hurt Locker: Reviews say it's got unbelievable tension, but frankly, after Inglorious Basterds, this one seemed pretty tame. Still a good flick, though -- makes ya think. 7-8.
District 9: Definitely not your typical alien monster movie. One scene in the preview trailer has an alien being interrogated who, after being asked, "How do your weapons work?", responds with, "We just want to go home." Think about it for a second, and my score of 8-9 will make sense.
Next on my list is Ponyo. Hayao Miyazaki has an incredible track record, and I'm expecting another great adventure.
Inglorious Basterds - 8/10, Tarantino's best film but for Pulp Fiction. Must now see District 9.
