First METRIC - Little Miami River Bike Trail - Part II

Here is the approach to the I-71 bridge. If look closely there is a semi truck on it - upper left corner of pic.

Here's a shot at the pylons. You can get an idea of the scale and height.

For small distances, the trail will run parallel to a road. There is not much traffic. Here is "Water Over the Dam" - Canoist have to portage around this one. You can see the highway in the foreground.

There are not too many bathrooms or places you can re-fill along the trail. This place was just about half-way for me and very much appreciated. Look close at the waitress, she is bringing out huge piece of cake. It was not for me. I was eating Hammer gel-packs most of the trip.

She was bringing it to these people.

    Back home in Loveland.

    Our favorite restaurant

Days like this make you really appreciate this sport and hobby. For the trip, I averaged 14 mph, with avg cadence of 82 RPM, with some headwind on the way back. Funny thing, this was the first day I wore a jersey and all of a sudden, some of the roadies were actually saying hi to me.

THANK YOU TREK !!! (Shameless plug)
