Homemade stuffed squash at my cousin's house tonight.
Followed by some awesome homemade pecan pie.
There's a reason I refuse to learn to make dessert. It's all I'd ever eat...
I ate like 2 slices and then ate tons of ice cream. Delicious.
The only thing sub par about the dinner was the beer. The microbrew someone got kinda sucked. Too many ipas. I hate ipas...
Learning how to make Kheer from my mom tomorrow. I'm so excited...

Bikes: I've lost count.
Only did a 42km ride today so nothing special. I'm just finishing some lentil and vegetable green curry.

The calorie counting starts today for me.
I'm purposely underestimating the calories burned (just using straight kJ, no factor), and overestimating the food calories of food I don't have data for.

or, you don't have to cook them.
1) pour milk,
2) eat
I started doing this when living out of the US, didn't believe it as possible at first... finally caved to conformity, started doing it, eat them that way at least 1/2 the time now.
(be sure to allow for their expansion in your stomach since it doesn't happen in the pan ahead of time)

Completed: Glass of apple juice. On the to eat list: 3 packs of instant oatmeal (fruity and sugary). Scoop of protein powder in the oatmeal. And that half banana, half pear I ate yesterday? I'll be finishing the two remaining halves today. Maybe a PBJ before heading out for 47 flat miles. I'll probably have a piece of pizza plus a Sprite at the mid-way point.

I was under the impression that if your power file says the ride was a 1600 kJ ride, you burned 1600 calories. There's a 'factor'? That's not right?

Bathroom scale after getting home from 102 miles, drinking about 1-L of various liquids (water, Vitamin Water, espresso), and eating lunch (half a gyro left over from last night and a banana) showed 190 lbs on my 6' 2" frame. I have been pretty consistently around 195 lbs, so I'm probably a couple of quarts low right now. We'll see what it says tomorrow morning.
This past Spring when I was in OK shape I was briefly down to 186 lbs at the end of "base" season. That time is always my low weight for the year. This year's goal is 180 lbs at that time.
