Random mix I like to make some times:

Scramble with eggs, onions, apples, cheese, butter, salt and pepper.

Put on top of a bed of steel cut oats.

Heres my daily breakfast for years...Initially started with 4 eggs and 1 cup of Quaker Oats when I was 150lbs.

3 egg whites with one yolk, sprinkle with sea salt and Japanese Furikake. Then 1/2cup of Quaker Oats 30secs in a microwave.

    Horray for Costco:

    6lb Whey powder
    3lb Nesquick powder
    4lb Gatorade powder
    48 pack Snickers
    24 pack Cliff Bar
A hot dog and a 20 oz coke

Should keep me on the road for a little while...

This has been my daily breakfast lately, maybe with some berries on top, and big mug o' java.

It's also my answer to this thread.

mollusk, that kind of stuff always cracks me up. Is the price of gelato really what usually keeps you from eating it? There's no logical reason that a sale on something that's already so cheap should affect your behavior, but we fall for it every time. I would never in my life walk into a store and consciously buy a donut. I don't even like donuts very much. Yet when someone brings them to work and they're free and in the same building as me it's like torture trying to avoid them.

Had a shot of wheatgrass today. Think I'm going try one a day for a while. Tastes not too bad, makes you feel sick for a while, but it's pretty good for you.

Note to self: Keep dark chocolate covered almonds inside the cabinet, so that they don't stare you down in the face every time you walk by the counter.

I'm experimenting a bit with the diet. The nutritionist told me to eat more, so I did that by adding more snacks to my day. Weight went up by two pounds and has stayed the same since then. However, I find that I'm still pretty much hungry all the time, and I think I might just not be eating enough in one sitting--always teetering on the edge of kind of hungry and barely satisfied.

So, instead of eating really really tiny bits very very often, I'm going to try eating slightly larger portions at slightly less frequent intervals. If nothing else it should at least be less of a pain in the ass.

Red curry for early lunch then snacked on a Whopper Jr. I'm experimenting too. Adding a little more red meat to my diet.
