Senegal-Western Sahara- Morocco

I am planing to cycle from Dakar to Europe in June. I plan to cycle along the coast all the way. Does anyone have any idea about the weather in that time of the year. Is it cyclable weather?

Has anyone cycled along this route or have any information to share?

I live in Rabat Morocco. The weather in June is quite like San Diego weather...Hot during the day, fairly pleasant at night. The weather down in Agadir, 9 hours by car down the coast, is a bit warmer during the day but still pleasant at night. Western Sahara and Senegal would be still warmer yet. If you stay along the coast of each country it will be warm but only get really really hot of the wind blows across the sahara and rolls over the mountains towards the coast. When that happens the heat wave hits the ocean and it gets very hot and muggy.

A word of advice. The territory you note as "Western Sahara" is contested between the government of Morocco and locals in that region. Officially there is no country called "Western Sahara" it is all Morocco. I tell you this because you may encounter the Gendarmie in the region and will confiscate any maps you have that show the deliniation of the border between the two regions. If you bring a map get one that does not deliniate the border between Morocco and Western Sahara.
