That's what I used, though I wasn't aware of the name. I made my dolly from a piece of a 2x4. It took all of 5 minutes to get the fender good enough.

Bikes: Schwinn World Tourist, Schwinn World Sport, Jamis Aurora

Any advice on fixing a broken (completely severed) fender strut? Glue, or welding? It's an old fender that I'd like to keep, so don't want to buy a new one. Any advice appreciated, thanks!

Agreed...I mean, if you can weld, great...but if you can't, a small patch and epoxy appropriate to the metal should do the trick.

I'd glue a metal strip on the inside to spread the load away from the join area.

In one way better, the path racer / guvnor has a very high bottom bracket so you can fit issues with size, at least I would. On the other hand path racer / guvnor has 531 frame and more relaxed angles.
