$250 for that fork and the Leader frame? I don't really know but it sounds like a great deal.
https://portland.craigslist.org/mlt/bik/2176299907.html
Part I: Have an aluminum Leader track frame that needs someone to build up and ride it. Original 720-TR 56 cm frame . Cosmetically, there are some scratches from normal use but absolutely no dings, ripples, cracks...ect. Will remove stickers if you want (they will come right off). Frames is in perfect condition. Extremely light and stiff.
Part II: All carbon Leader I-806TR track fork. 2" carbon blades and carbon 1 1/8" steer tube. 28 mm rake. No drilling for brake. Some light scuffs and scratches but not bad at all. This fork is light, steep, and ready for the track (or the street if your comfortable/ reckless on a fixed gear already). Fork is no longer made and worth almost as much as what I'm asking for everything.
Will give em both up for $250/ OBO. Will throw in unused Cane Creek threadless integrated headset if you want it. Will sell separately If need be as well.

Because he probably realized the gear ratio on that bike wasn't going to work.

54cm Basso Frame and Fork - $160 (Inner SE)
Date: 2011-01-19, 4:08PM PST
Reply to: sale-ndwmc-2169532462@craigslist.org [Errors when replying to ads?]
Completely restored Basso, powdered coated a nice candy blue with new decals. 54cm, Made from Columbus SL tubing, double butted, frame is spaced at 130mm for more modern wheels. Basso stamped dropouts, engraved "B" on brake bridge, really cool pump peg on top tube. NOTE: I have two forks, neither of which are original to the bike, but both are cut to the appropriate lengths. One is a fork off of a Merkx Mx Leader, made from Columbus Max tubing. I also have a Tange chrome fork that looks more original to the bike, but requires a long reach brake with 700c wheels. Included, with the frame and either choice in forks is a Campy Veloce bottom bracket. I will consider trades for a vintage mountain bike with deore xt, or some campagnolo nuovo record components, wheelsets etc. Contact me via phone or email. 503-409-9614, Cheers!

I'm seriously jealous. The biking community here in Louisiana is much smaller, and there are hardly ant good deals on the Baton Rouge and New Orleans CLs. The best deal I have seen in the past couple of months was a Chrome Bianchi Pista for $350, and my brother bought it.

Just curious, what would be a "great deal" for the CL listing is post #178?

Hello,
I have a 2008 56 cm Schwinn Madison track frame for sale. I stripped the factory blue paint off to have the chrome shine through.
I will get better pictures up tonight.
Here is what I want to include in the price for $250 OBO, but I do have all the parts to build it up, plus other parts.
Frame: Schwinn cro-mo track frame, 56 square with a high BB, I am 6' and it fit me relatively well.
Fork: threadless 1 1/8" track fork, chrome
HS: Cane Creek, smooth
BB: Miche track BB
Wheelset: Formula hubs to velocitys, 25c Continental Ultra Sports
Stem: Bontrager
Bars: 3TTT drops, or Bullhorns, or Risers.
I have an 1/8" chain as well if you want it.
Sen me an email for offers, or interesting trades.

60 cm fixie60 cm carbon fiber frame (I'm 6'0 and it fits perfect)
16 tooth fixed/16 tooth free wheel flip flop hub
Front and back brakes (although front brakes need new pads, back ones were replaced about 2 weeks ago)
Continental Gator skins 700x28 on front and back with about 2 months of commuting a little less than 10 miles per day on them. Really tough tires that run about 50 bucks each at bike shops, great for flat prevention.
Rims fit either schrader or presta valves.
Bullhorn handlebars
Red frame/red back rim
I have an extra back rack I can throw in for another $20 if you're looking to set it up as a commuter
Shoot me an email/text/call if you're interested and we can set up a time for you to check it out.

The 600 cranks are in excellent condition, though. They almost look NOS.

why the term "busting a nut" comes to mind with this bike...
I just finished this on saturday actually, its been a project for a while and i finally got the time i needed to complete it. its all fresh greased and cleaned inside and out and all used parts, but they are in excellent condition. The frame was freshly powedercoated by the last owner, a few chips but NO rust. the rear wheel is an aluminum flip-flop (single\fixie) with sealed bearings,700c fresh tire. front wheel is an aluminum 700c and is not sealed. sealed btttom bracket, 1" steertube new bearings on top and bottom, pleather bianchi seat, aluminum cranks and lightweight aluminum kalin flatbars. im going to replace the front tire before i sell it, front and back match I took the blue a V brake going to the back off and put on a chrome center pull with fresh pads on the front since i took these pictures, i can put it back on if you want. no lowballers, ive put ALOT of time into this. Call or text ANYTIME day or night. I can meet somewhere or you can come to me. ALL bikes i sell come with one free tune up, i am a certified bicycle mechanic and have 3 years of shop experience so i know what i am doing and i do it well.
