Yep. I was going through withdrawal. I got to take my first ride since before my trip on Saturday. It was a 25mi trip, and it was good.

I forgot to post this picture from Israel. It's the most interesting bike. Looks to be a custom bike with a 26" wheel in back and a 20" in front.I think whosever bike it is custom welded it.

I had a appointment in the city that allowed me to scoot up to Sterling to see some dudes in stage two of the Tour Down Under. If there's coverage in your parts of the world its worth watching, the Adelaide hills are a mecca for scenic riding and this time of year roads are packed with bikes. The first stage was a bit of a dud this year even though they rode the 10km's I used to ride to work and 25km's along the northern expressway actually on the road and not the bike path that I've pictured on here before, it was a blasting 40 degree head wind or 105 F for 148km's. It all makes me want to get back to riding in the hills again that I've not done for a while.

Had a very pleasant 18 mile ride on the fixed gear last night. Mid-40s, light winds, very comfy in sweater & unlined windbreaker.

Mid-20th century middle school. For some reason, I like this architectural style for schools (maybe cuz it's the era when I grew up)

As I posted in my other thread, here's my "knock about with the family" 18.x lb 7.5FX. With just a switch of the tires, this bike seems to be able to do it all. I have cyclocross tires for gravel/dirt/winter, 35's for the bike path and 25's for when I want to go a little faster.

I think the 7.5FX weighs around 23.5lbs. stock. I just got the exact same bike as pictured (minus the upgrades.)

I got new sunglasses. LOVE THEM. They are the Scattante Mestre in white. I thought they were damn good for only $30. Here's pictures of them with each set of lenses.

Hey Doohickie a CV Raleigh could get mighty lonely on the hybrid forum so it'll need some company, best of the commonwealth.

New helmet cam. It's an 808 #11 duct taped to my helmet. I am happy with the quality of the video. I also got a solar charger with a 1350mah lithium ion cell so I can record for an extended period of time.

Test video:

Nice one it does have good quality, seems to adjust well from low light in the garage to outside and color is good. I guess we can look forward to lots of ride vid's.

Thanks! It was a lot less expensive than a GoPro, at $45 including the solar charger. I will do two or three ride videos per week until school lets out for the summer in June, when I will do 5-7 ride videos per week.
