I love your real life pictures, keep them coming, I want to ride in the city traffic...The roads we ride on can be very different depending on the day . Tonight very
dangerousness, cars passing at 65 MPH, 20 MPH over the speed limit.........Think God for the new lights, we were riding after dark..They have NO respect
for riders here..We are just another obstacle in the road ! I think the Kendra Kwicks are right for my riding style. My video of them is more accurate than the
pictures on the web, slicks in the middle, and knobs on the side for off road. If I did a lot of Urban riding they might not be as good, could feel the knobs on tight
turns, but our roads are pretty straight. I wished we lived in a bike friendly community, ( MY DREAM ), but here, it is four wheelers and guns.. I understood your
debate on the other thread..Biking is your LIFE...Just felt it was not the right time reply.. I wish you the best my friend..Richard

I don't envy the roads you ride, not the paved ones anyway.

I dio like the city, but if I had lots of money, I'd be in the mountains out west. You're right about the city riding. I think it's safer than rural or suburban riding. A big part of it is the density of bicycles in cities, which in USA has changed alot in recent years. Regular drivers in cities now are expecting to see bikes, tourists maybe not so much. Many hazards in the city, but it must be much safer than the highways you ride. Be careful!

I posted a few pictures today in a thread in the Northeast forum. http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread...traffic/page23

Would you recommend it for city riding and short trail riding?

Here is mine. It is a Diamondback Wildwood Citi. Inexpensive and does what I want. 19" frame.

[Pardon my messy shelves.] Above is my old bike from Wal-Mart. I bought it summer 2010 and I've put somewhere around 800 miles on it. Its heavy and a bit clunky but it got the job done well enough for $80. Its on Craigslist now looking for a new home.

This is my current bike. Got it a couple weeks ago as a birthday gift from my parents. 2010 Trek 7.5 from Maplewood Cycle in St Louis. Rides great! The best part is how easy it is to load on to my bike carrier. I added a Princeton EOS light for low-speed trail riding and a cycle computer. Next item on my list is GPS.

A guy on a sporty Diamondback, day laborers looking for work outside a paint store, my trailer reflected in the door of a liquor store.
