^ I think generally, the Hall Of Fame nominees are selected because they are more absurd than useful. Having said that, I thought there was some good discussion there.

I am a busy man. I thought that I was going to have to move meetings around, cancel appointments and otherwise delay important matters while I studied these thread candidates.

And then, by luck, I stumbled across post 74 of the Cervelo-flip flop thread in my first minute of analysis. That made up my mind and should end the contest, which, as it turns out, was really no contest at all.

Ok, so I realize that I didn't understand the inside jokes among the banter, but reading the threads (what I could stomach of them) linked to made me remember why I left the Roadies as a board and as a whole... Seems to be a group of mean-spirited elitists here. Enjoy that, I'll go back to the other forums where people discuss the topics more often than they slam the posters (yeah, sure I'll get flamed for this, too, which only proves my point more)...

I'm glad I glanced through those for the first time, helps me understand a great deal of the inside references thrown up on this board. I do wonder if the guy who dropped the "Lance poseur" ever made it to Cat 3 and came back here to bask in his own glory as promised, or if he has moved back into video game sales after flaming out on the amateur circuit?

It's almost '42' which as everyone knows, is the answer.

Thanks, K&K! I would never have figured that out.

I understand the snark level is pretty high around here (see earlier replies), so merci beaucoup for sorting this out and not turning away newbies.

    Cheers!

I don't know why everyone has to make a big deal about being vague when someone asks what the 41 means. C'mon guys, really?

That is one conclusion. But look deeper.
