I cannot remove this bleeping cog. I have never had this problem.
I PB Blasted it a few times and could not get it to budge with a chain whip. So I used the hammer and metal rod, banging on the teeth at an angle tangent to the ring. I bent a few teeth but no movement.
I tried rotafix but no dice on the stand. So now the bike is upside down. In order for me to put the weight on the wheel I will need someone to stand on the bars which comes with its own set of risks. I do not want to start cranking on this thing if it is a lost cause. (It's a flip flop and the other side is available)
The lockring is off and yes, I am turning the correct direction.
So, does the hammer fail indicate that all is lost?
