    Taiwan - A Cyclist Paradise

    Hi all,

Just want to update you our events and happenings in Taiwan for 2011.

Should any of you be interested in racing in Taiwan, we've just updated our 2011 race calendar:

Also from now until end of Jan we're running the Kenting Winter Sale with 10% off all trips to Kenting, in the south of Taiwan, and the perfect destination for some winter fun & training. Add to that the excellent accommodation, beaches, restaurants and close proximity to Kaohsiung International Airport and you have a great venue!

Of course if you haven't ridden in Taiwan before then get ready for one of the best kept secrets in Asia with superb scenery and some of the best riding anywhere in the world....along with hot springs, great food, friendly locals, and easy logistics.

You forget to mention that while beautiful indeed, the east coast highway can be flat out dangerous to cyclists due to heavy, FAST moving traffic, tour buses galore, and cars crossing into oncoming lanes on blind curves. I hate driving there, and I would not ride a bike there. Kenting National Park is better, with less traffic and easy access beaches.
