    Training Failure Status

this is the season to be lazy.

So I blame all the chores I have to do. Yeah. That's it. Too much other stuff to do.

Except yesterday when I made time for two (2) (deux) (zwei) (2) rollers sessions

    and....

    only did one.

Instead I ate and sat on the couch.

I hear ya dude - I hate riding in the cold.
Rode with a buddy yesterday and he dropped my ass on a climb and told everyone about it online. Seemed that it was not mentioned that I did an hour and a half of intervals the day before and got two cortisone shots in my shoulder, etc. etc.
Just makes me want to be lazy some more...

Damn you botto - this is cold for me
When I was in the home country I used to ride in -20 celcius weather but now that I am heat acclimatized I can't take the cold at all but love the heat.

In the past 2 days, I've done 4600 kJ of work on the bike. I'm praying that will offset what I'm about to do.

All of my training is a failure and I have the race "results" to prove it.

And if this was renamed the Weight Loss Tracking Failure thread I would "win" it.

Get a Gentle Leader. I have an American Fox Hound that is close to 90 lbs of pure muscle that once gets on a scent is very hard to control unless on one of them.

I've done two rides since I came home from break. that was like ten days ago. so what?

I got some sweet defeet gear for xmas. Guess I'll try it out when racing starts haha.

Don't wear compression socks in your snowboard boots. It hurts if you have the drug store kind at least.

I'm Dreaming of a White (interspersed with a lot of green from the lawn) Christmas.

I used to live in Illinois and I would bike commute in that. However I was living in an area where most (but not all) people knew how to drive in those conditions. In Tennessee I would be more concerned about getting creamed by an out of control car than staying upright with that dusting of snow on the pavement.

If only my weight gain from being in shape to now was 2.5%. Mine is closer to 7%.
