I have an older vintage Bridgestone 300 in 48cm . I'm looking for literally anything in the 57-60cm range to trade. The frame is structurally sound but very beat up cosmetically (dings and nicks in the paint). Would consider it a project bike and would be expecting the same back as long as it rides okay.

Nikku, I had exact same bike (tourmalet) and my body is same "geometry" as yours. Did not worked out for me at all - bike was never quite comfortable. Now replaced it with Ross Signature - and this one has PERFECT geometry for our body type (63x57), and it fits just right. Otherwise, weight/behavior is similar to Tourmalet.

Thanks for the tip. I've figured out that I am most comfortable with a top tube length of 57-60cm. I've figured out that my perfect size is 64cm ST x 58cm TT (depending on angles I suppose). I think The 61cm Lemond top tube is just a hair too long, but rideable...I just never feel quite at "home" on the bike. I'll probably end up just selling the bike if I can't swap the frame.

Have: 1978-1980 Colnago Super. frame set with 62 st (ctc) x 59 tt (ctc).

Want: Mid 70s Colnago frame set in the 58-60 size range. Plenty of paint chips and dings to decals on mine, so I'd be willing to even the trade out with cash or parts if yours is nicer. I'd also consider other classic makes, but I'm pretty much only interested in 60s and early 70s European bikes.

I have a 57cm Exxon Graftek, serial number 01, all tubes are solid and together, everything is in good condition except that the threads on the original carbon fork are a little botched and the rear brake bridge has a repair (repair is solid) comes with shimano BB, tange g master needle bearing headset and american classic seatpost. I am looking for something 58cm to 60cm, would love to get ahold of something reynolds 853, tange presteige or similar

57 square center to center Eddy Merckx 10th aniversary. A bit small for me. The frame has several paint scrapes and some rust, with the chrome not in the best shape. No dents or dings. A small bit of cable housing is stuck in one of the cable runs; I've really made minimal effort to remove it at this point. So this is not a perfect frame. Columbus TSX tubing.

I think all the big flaws are amply photographed. This is a frame for frame swap, the C record has been removed from this bike. Further pictures on request.

Looking for something interesting in the 62cm or so frame range. Can ride down to about 60. Alas, I get to define "interesting". Will know it when I see it.

so ive got this poorly repainted 1985 cannondale frame its a 56 seat tube center to cetner and 57 top tube center to center at 6'2 theres not even any point in trying to fit on it but it is an excellent ride and feels more like steel than the ungodly stiffness cannondale is known for it is dent free id be interested in something in a 62-64 range preferably steel but hey try me! also traditional level top tube geometry is extremely appreciated

also comes with dura ace cranks (arms are a little beat but rings are pretty nice) shimano sealed bb and black

Hey Guys and Gals - for some reason I have always wanted one of those high end MTN Bikes I couldn't afford when I was in grad school. So I jumped at an opportunity to pick up this Birdgestone MB-3 Comp yesterday. It is a 19" frame. I used to have a 19" diamondback ascent and road it fine. This frame is a bit small for me, but I will ride it nonetheless. Looking to see if there is someone out there who has the opposite problem - Frame too big. I think this is a 1992 frame and it is pretty good condition with just some surface chain slap. Frame and Fork for your bigger frame and fork - does not have to be the same year, but looking for the same quality of frame.

I bought a 72 paramount thats too big, Its a 24" frame, The top tube is way to big for me. the frame is in serious need of a paint job. I would trade/sell the frame set alone or the whole bike. Id be interested in a 56cm reynolds 531 or 853 frame. Nothing french.

I have an '83 Schwinn Super Sport, 23" frame. Frame comes with a new Schwinn cartridge bottom bracket. Headset may need replacing. Good condition, some flecks on the paint and the decals are fading a bit.

Edit: Looking for a mixte of similar quality, 51cm/19" or so to build up for my girlfriend.

'87 Peugeot P8, looks like about 52cm. I re-purposed most of the parts onto another P8 frame already. But this was such a nice riding little bike I hate to see it sit around. ALL ENGLISH SIZES , no French sizing/threading to contend with. Pretty clean, nice paint and everything works well.

I'd like to trade the frame, fork, headset, BB, and Shimano shifters/deraileurs for an interesting frameset in 58-59cm. I'm always interested in 70's gas pipe Peugeots, Atalas, anything English or Euro.



The bars, stem, wheels, brakes, crank, seat and seatpost are already on a keeper Peugeot.

Offering - I just bought this near mint 1987 Lotus Leger last week. 21.5" (54-55 cm) Lotus Leger Triathlon Series. It is way to small for me. I may have overpaid from the neighbor I bought if from, however it was way too beautiful to pass up. It’s almost mint with the exception of the scratch on the fork (see pic) and few minor scuffs. Diacomp 5000 brakes and levers, Suntour 5000 derailluers, Sugino GP 130 Cranks, MKS Pedal, Cages with original Lotus straps, Zefal hp Pump, SR Fluted seat post, DGK Japan water cage with Lotus water bottle. Handle bars are Lotus Kusuki. . All original with exception to the Rims / Tires (Sun Mistral M13 622 w/ Maillard french hubs and Forte Strada 700 x 25 tires).

Looking to trade for - Similar 1980’s Japanese, I prefer Steel (Team or Pro Miyata is on my wish list, 3Rensho, another lotus in 59 – 61 cm). Will also consider Italian or Spanish Steel. I will trade complete for Frame or even everything but wheelset, whatever makes sense. Zeus wheelset or Cranks are also on my wishlist.

1984 Schwinn Tempo Frameset for trade, size is 62cm seat tube X 58cm (or 23" according to the schwinn catalogs) top tube both measured center to center. It's quite a good looking bike and seems like it was very well taken care of. I have pretty much the whole bike too if that might work better.

I would be interested in something italian/japanese in 52-54cm.

HAVE: 1996(?) 55cm Trek 2100 Pro Carbon Fiber - Aluminum Composite frame set in decent shape, seems real tight with no wiggles or structural damage. Anyway, it's little piece of history in the early stages of using carbon on bike frames - Made in the USA.

WANT: a much larger (62 - 65cm) lugged steel, TI, or other interesting item. Raleigh International, Competition, Schwinn Paramount or Voyageur, PX-10, 70s-80s Japan, etc etc all the usual suspects. Any interesting, large road or touring frame not too heavy. Or if you have a carbon frame in a really big size, I'm up for that too. Really, the same Trek 2100 frame in 62 or 64 would be great, but I'm not sure they actually exist.

Frameset includes frame, original Trek bonded aluminum fork, headset (Tange) and bottom bracket, but not the crank in the photo. I can also toss in what I believe are the original the Shim 105 matte grey brakes and levers, and Sakae handlebars and black stem if what you're trading merits more stuff in return. The colors don't show up that well in pix (click to enlarge) but the color scheme is clearcoated carbon tubes and dark purple aluminum corners, head tube, BB, seat & chainstays and vertical dropouts. Stickers and insignia are all on top of the clearcoat, and could be easily replaced/removed if desired. Carbon tubes are undamaged, with some scuffs to the clearcoat in places and some scrapes/scuffs on the purple painted aluminum as well. The two very worst are photographed in detail. That one on the chainstay looks like a pedal rub where the bike may have shared a trunk rack with another bike. (I've done that before; just not with this bike.)

I measure my Trek 55cm CTC (56.5cm CTT) on the seat tube and 55cm CTC on the top tube. I bought this from an old guy who had to quit riding (back problems) and since it feels too small for me, I decided to part it out before it gave me back problems, too.
