Feel free to discuss the dot.com...

Should we take a poll? ;D

Not me! I figured it was directed towards the many posters that swear they will leave forever. Some do (so you think) but you don't realize they are back under other names. We just know zactly which ones they are, but they never really totally "quit".

Mods know who is and who isn't there and those that think that we think that they aren't there but they are there.

Bikes: '09 Felt F55, '84 Masi Cran Criterium, (2)'86 Schwinn Pelotons, '86 Look Equippe Hinault, '09 Globe Live 3 (dogtaxi), '94 Greg Lemond, '99 GT Pulse Kinesis

What, are we Texas now?
We don't really have to toot our own horn do we?
That's usually what the hapless saps in miserable places like Texas & Saharizona do, using cheap chicanery and Chamber-of-Commerce words like dynamism, recreation capital and tourism opportunities to lure visitors to their sucky states.
There's a very good reason why Southern California doesn't need a tourism bureau, (Googles... haha, but it turns out that one does exist. I hang my head in shame.) Especially here in San Diego County every summer when we're eye-deep in motorhomes with Arizona plates and NASCAR flags, and the convenience stores have to triple their stocks of tobacco products.

Even if we do have an (entirely unnecessary) Tourism Bureau, we still rule hard enough that people in other states hate us for simply being fortunate enough to live here. So why gloat?

I love that we have TWO soviet symbols on our state flag to frighten away the Archie Bunker types.

Bikes: Cannondale Synapse '06, Mongoose titanium road bike '00--my commuter. Yes, Mongoose once made a decent ti road bike.

^^^^ You said commie. Is this like DOT COM as opposed to DOT NET? Now we have an issue.

It's always weird to me that people would go to the trouble of creating sock puppets, get banned, come back under different IP addressed from different ISPs and different machines, argue with their own alter-ego, etc.

To me it's just a bike forum. It's kind of fun, I learn a lot, meet a few nice people and a few asshats (just like life) and I move on from there.
