Entry Level FGFS Frame
I've been looking into building up a FGFS bike for the summer, and I'm trying to find a frame. In a perfect world, I'd like one for under $300, but my max is probably around $400. I'm also pretty tall and generally ride 60-62cm frames, should I be looking for the same size in trick frames?

I ride a 57cm surly steam roller as a commuter and a 56cm leader trk 2 as a trick frame. I tried several friends' trick bikes before building mine (a 52 and a 54cm) and I feel the 56 works well for me. I don't consider myself an expert in any capacity, but from my experience a similar size frame is the way to go.

I know a few people that ride volume bikes and love them. And from seeing the in person they really are solid frames. I have also heard good things about the butcher as well though. If it were me though I would be getting a volume frame

I ride a se us versus them 2012 and I love it. I also rode a volume thrasher v1 which was also a good bike. the bruiser, volume and butcher are all good for a first fgfs bike.
