Thanks WonderMonkey! My actual goal is 125 miles this month. I may just have to start a thread for us in between 100 and 500 miles.

I'm at 144 for April, with more to come this Thursday. More importantly, it looks like spring/summer finally arrived. Please strike my name, I'm moving up to the "Barrettscv 500 mile/month challenge"

I'm promoting you out of this group, over achiever! Start a 200 mile / month thread if that is where you think you will be usually.

I don't know where I'll be usually, aside from that one monster day I was surprised to have done quite so much this month. Under normal circumstances I'd probably aim for 200/month, so how about I start that one next month?

That sounds good. Hopefully in a few months you will have promoted yourself out of it and I'll be getting into it.

I am in for May. This month I had a decent couple of weeks in the middle of the months, riding several 3 and 5 mile days and one day with 10 miles. But I have been on a trip for a week and just got back.

Pulling out the torture bike today when it hits 50 degrees or thereabouts.

Question for general feedback - is it better to have a load of different threads for different goals or a single thread where people can post their goals and progress towards them? I'd vote for the latter, as it means people can offer encouragement to those aiming higher or lower than they are. If there's some kind of online gizmodo that will report a bunch of targets and progress towards them we could post a single thread with a link to it. If not I might even be tempted to write one, it can't be all that hard....

I don't know if I'll be able to make it for April or not - the weather here has been so Seattle-like that 80% of my riding has been indoors, and I don't have a clue how many "miles" it would work out to.

And for May, I'd better far exceed 100, or I'll be in serious trouble when the TdC rolls around in early June.

I set a goal of 300 miles for April. Weather permitting I think I can make that . I have a solo ride tonight (18-25 miles) and a 32 mile group ride this Saturday. Next month I'm scaling back to 220 because I'm going to be incorporating other activities into my fitness schedule - and I'm gonna be on vacation in Galveston (well, the Bolivar peninsula, actually) for 8 days.

Count me in for May.
So far this month I have done.
4-25 = 4miles (Rode the bike to the shop to get it tuned and ready to ride)
4-29 = 4.4miles (Walked ~4miles to the shop and rode my bike back and added a little scenic route on my way home)
God, the bike feels soooo smooooooth.....I'm loving this. Anyway, goal of 100 miles for May. Good luck to everyone.

I just did my biggest month ever at 196 as of this morning (with a ride planned this afternoon). I'm pretty unexperienced here on the forum, but will definitely join a 200 mile club if someone else can start one.

Where do I sign up for the 300 mile a week one?

Or I can sandbag and forget to post a few rides!

1110 this month! It's been very windy. PLEASE don't come kidnap my kitten.
I promise I will do better next month! More that likely twice this much.
