The wife and I did a smoking 1 hour workout at a different LA Fitness gym. We did a full body workout using free weights and machines.

A guy that saw me and my wife working out together, told me it was nice to see a father working out with his daughter!! WTF!!

Only swam 1400 yards last night. We did a 5-minute kick for 'best distance' followed by a 5-minute swim, followed with a 5-minute pull followed by a 5-minute 'stroke' (non-freestyle.) After that we did a bunch of all-out sprints. When I got home, I collapsed in my recliner while the Good Wife(tm) nuked dinner, and almost couldn't get back up to eat.

I did the inaugural San Diego half marathon this morning. It's not fun having to get up extra early for a race on Daylight Savings Day when we lose an extra hour of sleep.

I added a Roman Chair to my home equipment. Not expensive either, and gives your abs a super burn.

https://www.kmart.com/shc/s/p_10151_1...=30-36628636-2

I did a full body workout on my back deck. I hope the dreaded Home Association doesn't hang me. I had my weight bench, pull up bar, the roman chair and a complete set of Dumbells and one barbell on my back deck. Had a great workout.. After I finished, I hung flower pots on the equipment, so I can claim they are deck furniture, and/or flower holders..

Full body 2 hour workout with the wife at LA Fitness Gym.. The wife is recovering from a back injury. She use to do 8 plates on the leg press.

https://www.cehoward.net/plates88.jpg

Today, she was back up to 5 plates on each side..

Slow rehab exercise will almost bring anything back to normal.

I have arthiritis all up and down my back and arms. Sometimes I get an attack in my arm and I can't straighten. However, I keep moving it in some form of exericise. If I stop, I am done!!

Bob, just want to give you props on that!

IMO, nothing like the gym atmosphere! When I am the gym, I am able to feed off the all the energy around me, making me work harder, hence I get better results. I work out at home too, but the gym is the chit!! Nothing like it..

The Trigeminal Neuralgia has subsided, allowing me to step up my exercise routine. 70 pushups yesterday, lots of upper body. Stretching, 2 100 second planks daily, bridges, chest, back, swimming almost daily.

Just returned from a 90 minute walk. I brought my blood/sugar numbers down considerably which is good because after dinner they elevated more than normal. Damn carbs!!!

We always do stretching before and after a workout. A couple years ago, my wife injured her back doing heavy weight on the Smith machine at the gym. It was bad, after the MRI, they recommended back surgery and PT as a second option. She passed on the surgery, and slowy has worked her way back. She is about 85%. With us, stretching is manatory before working out.
