There's no bikes in that part of the world so there's probably not many Romanians around here... but anyone got a good list of Romanian bands? I've been listening to/singing O-zone a lot (what can I say? I dig it), but some light/hard rock or even opera might do. I tend to stay away from acid metal crap ... Sonata Arctica is my favorite "Power Metal" band.

I am trained for both classical and pop, to a mild degree in each, and have only recently begun to develop enough control to pronounce Romanian Rs My hearing hasn't developed well enough to hear all the phoenyms correctly but it's coming. Language is a difficult process, and often your brain will substitute until you have enough exposure to recognize subtleties.

Romana is a pretty language ... Japanese follows pretty close, though Sindarin is well up there as well.
