A $50 Bianchi is mine!!!!
Sorry for the dreadful photos, but they are from the kijiji ad.
I was trawling kijiji for bikes and came across a Bianchi with a trainer, shoes (!), and tri bars for $50! The only problem is that it was in Sudbury - 8 hrs drive away! Luckily my good friend's mom lives there and she happily went and bought it for me! She's going to bring it with her next month when she comes to visit! I can't wait.
any more info on this bike is appreciated (sorry, no drive side pic - it's killing me!!). I'm also worried it will be a bit big, but for $50....how could i let it go??

Haha you're probably right. The trainer's what got me. Around here I never see even a crummy one go for less than $50. I'm still jealous either way.

Flip the Tri bars on eBay and get a $40 refund!
A ten-dollar Bianchi! Way to go!
(And here I thought Bianchi's were expensive!)

Looks like about a 48CM frame size? If that size fits you, and you want a nice road bike, forget the price... great bike to have!

First time I see a Sudbury posting on here.. I saw that bianchi about a minute after it was posted, but it wasnt my size.. ordinarily Id still jump on a deal like that just being 30 mins away or so, but just not into selling stuff on ebay or otherwise anymore, and the parts on it appear to be exage or rx100, glad someone picked it up who can make good use of it!

I'm really hoping it's a 48cm rather than 50cm as this would fit me better, but if it's more than 50cm I'll be toast (or at least my groin will be).

Do the shoes fit?
Great deal one way or another. The thing that cracks me up is the aero bars. Do they really make you go that much faster on the trainer? If so, don't you have to spend more time on it, to get a workout? Complicated stuff here.

No idea on the shoes. Though aren't those platform pedals on the bike?
I think the aero bars are pretty funny on this bike. The whole thing is kind of surreal. The ad title was "Road Bike and Trainer". No mention of the bike brand, and she insisted you take the whole lot! What a shame. I just wanted the bars...

Ah, yes, good point on the pedals. Well, still... see if the shoes fit, no? Some people just love cycling with real cycling shoes. I'm not among them, but that's another matter. I found a pair of Diadora shoes in the trash a month or two ago, brand new, in my wife's size, it was like Christmas all over again (but with gifts this time!).

Can't wait to see everything. This is like a big time Christmas! I'm hoping I can use the trainer as a kind of work stand (at least for some things). I'm guessing that my huge women's size 10 feet won't fit into the person's shoes that rode this little bike, but then again, the bike seems to be about my size so maybe there are other short legged/big footed mutants around!

Make sure you check the stem and seatpost for seizing when you get it home.......wind trainer bike = sweat = corrosion = stuck stem and maybe seatpost if the PO really sweats a lot!
Good luck, hope it gets on the road for you really quick for the summer!

Dang after I read using the trainer as a work stand I kinda regret not picking this up now haha, with some modifications it would make a cool stand.

Nice. I did something very similar recently.
Got all of this...
for $140. Sold the trainer for $100 and still have some cleats, and aero bars to get rid of. Brand new pair of shimano shoes (spd), and the full 105 Bianchi brava with some other bits and bobs. So $40 for a Bianchi and brand new spd shoes (in my size no less)

Glad perseverance paid off and you didn't go with the Norco. Nice find, and my wife's size too! Can't believe all that for $50.
