Like stated above, inspect the joint with the stays. I have heard of problems with them breaking on the F75. Mine has not given me any problems. Look for signs of crash damage, this would raise a red flag as this could have damaged the bond. And don't over pay, the F15 came out in 04 I believe.

ok fine i will! today was the last day for november's preorder money saver deal so i placed my order. here is my build:

Choose Front Rim RFSC 58, Choose Rear Rim RFSC 58, Choose Build Standard (20/24 spokes), Choose Drivetrain SRAM / Shimano, Choose Spokes Sapim CX-Ray, Black, Choose Hubs Chris King R45, Choose Hub Color Green (Chris King only)

should be pretty sweet with green CK hubs

Z85. Love the way it looks and rides, though I find myself wanting to be stretched out more. Think I should have gotten the F85 but I'll be alright. The longer stem makes it ride great, I just gotta remove the spacers in the fork to lower those bars a bit yet. 30 miles in jeans and a t-shirt and some basic gloves.. no discomfort. Just got my biking shorts in today though, looking forward to testing.

Newest fleet addition, and only Felt. Since I have now survived three group rides on it, I figure it counts as a road bike.

Occured to me I'd not posted in this thread. My AR5 with the ghettoest number pinning ever. And gaudy purple bar tape ( team colours )

I'm just curious... for you F series and AR series owners, why did you choose the one over the other? I have a Z85 now, but am looking to upgrade within the next year or so. Is the weight advantage of the F series better than the aero advantage of the AR series or vice versa?

personally i ride solo often and i live on the wrong side of the state for mountains so i went with the AR, those reasons and because it looks badass.

I had an AR... liked it a lot. Carved up wind. But, I live in the NC mountains... the F Series was way lighter, much better climber, and is stiff as hell. Love my FC. Will keep this one for a long while.

I'm torn on this one, the AR looks BMFA, while the F is light as h311. How does bottom bracket stiffness compare?

The AR looks cool as hell.... but I wouldn't want a bike that's a noodle. I can't say I have seen pro sporting an AR either..

any AR owners here have any problems swapping out their saddle? i'm wanting to try out a specialized romin evo pro but on their site it says:

NOTE: Oversized 7x9mm carbon rails are not compatible with seatposts equipped with side-load clamp mechanisms for 7mm round rails

will that work with my seatpost? i dont really know what that means.

If the specialized saddle has the same size rails as your current saddle it will be fine. Most saddles have 7mm round rails. Some saddles like the fizik saddles with braided carbon rails have rectangular rails that are 7x9mm.

Im not that familiar with the AR so I don't know what king of seat clamp it has. If it clamps the rails from the side the clamp must be the right size to properly secure the saddle. If it clamps from the top and bottom of the rails you should be able to use almost any seat.

My guess is your current seat most likely has round rails. So you should be able to use any other seat with round rails.

I used to use a side clamping ritchey seatpost with my carbon railed fizik. I had to buy a different sized clamp to fit the 7x9mm rails.

I picked up a 2011 Felt Z6 a couple of months ago. I love it! I haven't had a chance to take many photos yet, but here's one:

Anyone know if Felt has anything interesting coming out in the next few years?

My first road bike was an 2009 F3SL, which was nice, but nothing compared to my current 2010 AR1.

I would like to drool over a new Felt, but honestly even the high-end F series aren't blowing my mind.
