Issue w/ viewing pictures.

Very often the pictures are off center such that I have to scroll a bar at the bottom of the picture in order to see it fully.

Is there a setting I can change to avoid or fix this?

Thanks

What browser are you using? I'll bet it's IE6?

There are aserious compatibility issues with IE6, since it's so obsolete. It's also full of security holes. My best advice is to DL any of the following:

Firefox (Free)
Safari (Free)
Google Chrome (Free)
Most recent IE iteration (Also free)

I'm having this issue as well when viewing on my laptop, using the latest version of Firefox or IE7.

Note the large amount of white space to the right of the post. This is the only site I seem to have this issue on.

Tyy clearing your cookies and cache anf ==d og back in and see if that resolves the issue. That appears to be an issue related to an obsolete style cookie. When you log back in, you should get the new coolie.

Cleared cookies and cache - still seeing this issue. Even installed Chrome and tried it again with the same result.

Do you have any nonstandard settings?

All defaults - I don't use IE (just fired it up to test) and this was the first time using Chrome on this machine. Pretty sure I haven't touched anything in the Firefox settings either.

edit - If you or anyone else knows of a forum using the same version of vBulletin, I'd like to see if this happens elsewhere. So far this is the only forum I have this issue on.

For me it happens on every post that contains a photo. See screenshot above for an example.

I see the screenshot, and it doesn't look good. Does this happen on post #6 in this thread?

Does this happen when you look at a post when you are not logged in? I just logged out, and didn't have this problem on firefox

It does indeed happen on post #6, as well as #7 where I'm getting a nice pyramid scroll bar effect at that point. Happens whether I'm logged in or not. Strangely this only happens on my work laptop, not on my desktop at home where I also use Firefox. The only thing I can think of is perhaps it has something to do with the firewall at work. However, as I said it only happens with this forum - so I'm not sure what's unique with regards to this forum from others that run vBulletin.

Something interesting I noticed in another thread - it appears that signature images don't seem to be constrained to a table and expand into the white space to the right of the post (still not sure why this white space is here, for ad placement?), unlike the images in the main body of the post.

I have this same problem with Opera Mobile, every picture on the site. The problem is not there with the stock google browser: i.e. the full image extends to the right without a scroll bar.
