I'm on the Hutchinson Atom right now. Performance is clearing them out for about $20 a tire.

I don't like rubinos. They suck in the rain, and I ride in the rain regularly.
Do you think we're gonna make it? / I don't know unless we try \ you could sit here scared to move / or we could take them by surprise

    slicks or Pros ?

I have come Conti 4000 tires and the 4000s and the krylion's but my new bike came with rubino slicks.

I might get corsas for racing or get tubular wheels I'm still undecided.

I use the Rubino's slicks for training and they've been bullet-proof. I wouldn't race on them though, they are pretty stiff and slow. I also have the Conti GP4000S, which have been good for both training and racing.

Here's a little tip of all of those who have trouble getting new tires on the rim...

Put your oven on the LOWEST setting you can and stick the tire in for a few minutes (just enough to get the tire quite warm), then mount. The tire will go on first go.

If it is summer, it also work if you just leave the tire out in the sun for a while and get it good and warm.

Note: I take no responsablity if you do anything stupid and burn your kitchen down or anything... just THINK and be careful, don't leave the tire in the oven like it is a roast chicken!)

    Your welcome! ;-)
