Well it took a while but I finally found this 1988 Cannondale SR500 Team Crest in my size. Its 100% stock and besides a few scratches on the fork in pretty good condition! Ill replace the tires and bar tape then get out and take some real photos.

Classic Bridgestone Kabuki Diamond track bike with my test / spare wheels... hoping I have some MA40 hoops to lace up by next week.

Built it with a bunch of spare bits I had kicking around... Cyclone crank, Gran Compe levers, Modolo brake, Dura Ace pedals, Sakae rando bars, GB stem.



From what I know the brazed model is rarer than the lugged version of this bike and was a special order model from Bridgestone.

I was looking back around a big bend (looking for the slower rider we were with) and went into the shoulder a bit. There was a big divot in the shoulder and that taco'd the forks and sent me flying into the grassy ditch. No serious injuries just small cuts and a bruised ego.

My neighbor gave me a free univega I looked back to check on my bro and I hit a pole and ruined my fork

1966 Moulton F, with a bunch of modern upgrades like the Nexus 7, generator, and dp brakes... and it is one hellishly sweet ride.

And yesterday I picked up this 1974 Schwinn Continental at the flea market:

The senior bike in my collection, a 1950 Raleigh Sports that I purchased from the original owner.

Today it got new boots, I had built these for another Raleigh and used vintage Mavic 650A rims (new old stock) laced to 70's era hubs, the 1950 hubs will get rebuilt with the same rims as I have two more sets of these. I also sourced a nearly NOS 1950's crankset that I will swap in as the non drive crank is a little bent and the new crank is all shiny and new looking.

The Delta cruisers are wonderful... the bike eats up bad roads like they are not there.







Raleigh Special bars came stock on the bike, the grips were replaced in 1951 (according to the owner).



British made dyna hub... have yet to test it.

There is something so weird and wonderful about Moultons. I'd like to try one someday. Apparently, they are made "one size fits all," which puts me at a disadvantage because I'm tall and such things rarely work. Still so cool, though.

You are now a Moultoneer, ya know!

I have a 33 inch riding inseam and fit on my Moulton is the same as my 55cm road bike... there is a lot of room for a taller rider here.

It's a size too big for me, so I had to cut the seatpost and shorten the reach of the stem.

My friend came by today and took the Moulton for a ride... said it was the most amazing bike he had ever ridden even though he could not handle the extra reach I have.

After that I went out to the shop and went to the tickle trunk and fitted a Sugino Competition crank after singulating it to bump the gearing a smidge... will install a 14 tooth cog in the rear (as soon as I get one) to replace the 15 and then the gearing range will be closer to that of my road bike. The Sugino also looks more appropriate to the bicycle than the Shimano LX, is lighter, and a little more badass.

Now I just need to find the right silver seatpost, fit a leather saddle, and mebbe install some Shimano 600 pedals to give it some extra vintage touches.
