bike rental during interbike... wife and I to ride red rock loop

My wife and I will be in vegas sept 12-18. We'd like to do some riding around red rock and possibly more riding. We will need to rent bikes, and won't have a car, so riding from the shop (arrival via taxi likely) would be preferred. Can anyone lend some help? I have seen some old posts, but never know if shops are still in town. I don't know the area around vegas very well, but have GPS if needed.

I don't want to deal with crowds and hassle of borrowing an exhibitors bike for a ride... and we will probably skip the outdoor demo

These are three good shops in the Henderson, NV area. That is close to Bootleg Canyon where Interbike gets kicked off. Those shops can hook you up with a good bike of any kind. Bootleg is in the SE Corner of Vegas Valley.

McGhie's Bikes and Boards is the biggest shop in Vegas and supports the local rides and races. I usually like smaller LBSs personally, But McGhie's has built a great reputation by supporting the sport. They are also the Closest to Red Rocks.

Good riding and PLEASE, don't drool on the bikes.

OH< I just reread the end of your post. McGhie's is where you want to start for riding Red Rocks. Reserve the bike as early as you can. Interbike brings in a ton of people doing what you are doing. The OUTDOOR Demo is the best part IMHO!

I think we will try to get to outdoor demo at least 1 day. I have to get in some riding, can't afford a week off the bike with all of my aspirations of finishing mid-pack this CX season lol
