Still time to sign up for the BEST century route in the Vegas area. No crowds, no traffic... but LOTS OF EPIC CLIMBING including Red Rock Scenic Drive and Lovell Canyon.

    Details here: http://www.granfondolasvegas.com

Even Bicycling Magazine said this was one of the MUST DO Gran Fondos in the U.S.!

I looked at this one and may try it next year, the tuscon ride in november is also interesting, but a lot of people and also a tri state gran fondo that does NV, AZ and utah, but I couldn't get it together in time to fly out. Then I started thinking I probably couldn't manage any of the climbs being from the flatlands......

I've wanted to both years. My niece is getting married that weekend and I will be out of town! Keep em comin though, I'll make one sometime. That tri-state does look good. Mesquite is a fun little town. Great golf as well.
