Giant TCR or Pinarello Dogma

Agreed the dogma is heavy. I was surprised when I collected it from the shop as it didn't feel as light as I expected. Got it on the Park Tool scales when i got home and it was a fraction over 16 pounds. I expected 15 pounds or a bit less with this spec.

However, on the plus side, and maybe this is something positive that comes from the weight, it feels very rigid indeed, and very solid and secure on downhills and cornering.

I live in Lubbock, Texas. If you want something other than a specialized, felt, or jamis, you buy without riding. And even if you want a Felt, you are stuck ususally riding a different model or the wrong size.

I thought Velocity was carrying Cervelo these days.

Just wondering what happens when or if you loss power via- run battery out or crash and break a wire etc. ???

That is a problem. I am short. Bike shops never have my size, so I can't get a meaningful test ride.

I fancy di2 ultegra as well, but there is just this gut feeling that if something goes wrong with the software / hardware in the di2 mechanism there is no way i can fix it at the side of the road.

Just revisited this thread. I'll post some pics tomorrow - if I remember. Bike much better now. Mechanic that built it is good (in general it's an excellent build) but for some reason he put the brakes so far forward on the bars that riding on the hoods was like riding on the drops. Fixed it myself, and now I love this machine.
