I wouldn't buy either. The Giant is probably excellent but kind of dull, and the Dogma is cool looking but heavy for the money.

Good choice. Enjoy the beautiful bike.
Agreed the dogma is heavy. I was surprised when I collected it from the shop as it didn't feel as light as I expected. Got it on the Park Tool scales when i got home and it was a fraction over 16 pounds. I expected 15 pounds or a bit less with this spec.
However, on the plus side, and maybe this is something positive that comes from the weight, it feels very rigid indeed, and very solid and secure on downhills and cornering.
Awesome! Post a picture (or several) when you get it!

Pinarello pics!!
Just revisited this thread. I'll post some pics tomorrow - if I remember. Bike much better now. Mechanic that built it is good (in general it's an excellent build) but for some reason he put the brakes so far forward on the bars that riding on the hoods was like riding on the drops. Fixed it myself, and now I love this machine.
if somebody said to me "hey you can either have this pinarello dogma for free OR you can shoot yourself in the foot with this .38" i would shoot myself in the foot
pinarellos are so awful why would you buy that bike
**pics, or none of this happened...........
