We got around 4" out in Woodinville. The Sammamish River Trail was hard work this morning. The 520 trail was better, except west of 148th, they had applied some sort of deicer to 520 and the melted ice/snow ran under the jersey barrier onto the trail and...refroze. That was a little sketch without studded tires. Other than that, it was a fine morning for a bike ride.
cliff is now saying wed morning is DOOMMMMMMMMMMM
I'm at work today, but I'm using a sick day tomorrow.
Maybe work will be closed and you wont have to redeem your sick day. Then again, there goes the getting paid for it part.
So in my house we are now looking at trainers :-\
Shoreline: snowing steadily since 9am. Edcc campus closed so there's one errand off the list. Still have work tonight at 3pm, downtown. Taking the shame train aka the rolling detox center that is the 358. Good times.
cliff is now saying, "not so bad, but still a bit of snow"
Low tonight could reach -40 and with wind chill -50...
You don't even need to do the math for this one.
lol we are not men... we are devo

I think its safe to say winter is definitely not over here in the PNW. Somewhere around 300,000 yes that's right without power and heat this morning.
(Life is too short to play crappy guitars) 2006 Raleigh Cadent 3.0, 1977 Schwinn Volare, 2010 Windsor tourist. ( I didn't fall , I attacked the floor)
I think the creation of this thread doomed us all from the start. It was just a matter of time.
I hope the utility crews can get the lights back on soon.
With the exception of a bit of flooding in the usual places, things are becoming quite springlike in the southern, lower elevation portions of the PNW. (Does that make this place the lesser Northwest?) We're having nice, warm rain showers. They're just warm enough that you sweat through whatever you wear under a light rain coat, but not warm enough to skip the coat.
I topped out at 15 inches of snow on my patio table in east Mill Creek yesterday afternoon. I have lived here for 11.5 years, and this is the most snow yet in a single week.

Definetely wished it was over. Was snowed in for 3 days last week. Can't complain about not going to work though. Neighborhood looked liked a tornado zone with all of the trees down.
Absolutely beautiful day in southwest Washington today with great forecast for the next week.
