    Work has intervened....

and slowed my project down, but I made a bit of progess today. I got the headset installed, along with the Reynolds and Trek replacement decals courtesy of JR. at Velocals. Very high quality, substantial decals that went on perfectly with wet application. I'm just knocked out by the powdercoat job, and the decals are just what I had hoped. Because I had bosses added to the seat tube, I had to punch a hole in the decal, but after careful measuring (measure 5 times, punch once!) it worked out fine.

    Very convincing PC job!
Congrats on your seat tube wrap. I know that installing them is not for the faint of heart .

It might be best if you can source some old cups in reasonably good condition.
(IME, conventional cup & ball bb's will last far, far longer than cartridge bb's.)
