Ozaukee Interurban trail question - Highland road area

Does anyone here who rides the Interurban trail between Cedarburg and Thiensville avoid the section just south of Highland where there are the two blind 90° corners, the power station gravel strewn truck crossing, and the double gated walk your bike RR track crossing?

The couple of times I rode through there I kept thinking I'd be better off just taking Highland and Cedarburg roads to bypass that section of trail. I'm between jobs but have applied to several companies that would make this section of trail part of my commute, assuming I get one of the jobs and bike commute to work .

Anyone here bypass that section of trail, or just ride the blind 90's and zig-zag across the tracks?

    Just curious.

Any typo's will be blamed on the android touchscreen keypad,
I'd rather be riding than thumb-typing

I just deal with it. The challenge is to slalom through the zig-zag across the tracks without clipping a gate!

Okay, thanks. I thought maybe if someone rode it often they might just hit the road and bypass that trail section to save time and hassle. Plus the couple of times I rode through there it was during a summer and I had a close call with another cyclist, and then a runner when coming back the return direction.

    Thanks again.
