Pedaling around the world away from a job in Computers - Tired of I.T!

In 2009 I quit my job working in computers, sold everything I owned, and bought a bicycle setting forth for a round the world journey. I keep a blog that outlines the highs and lows of the travel along with photos, videos, gear listing and statistics.

That's awesome! Congratulations!!!
Though not going around the world, my 13 year old son and I are cycling across America this summer. We will learn more about each other and ourselves on this trip than anything else I can think of. Already thinking about additional trips when we're done.

Currently I am in Africa, with about 1.5 years to go to get to Morocco based on my lack of planning, calculations, and just plain out getting sidetracked while hearing about places to visit. I'll be in Europe next, and will make my way around to Scandinavia, the Baltic States, and then back down Eastern Europe before the Middle East and Asia and ... Who knows.
