Cinelli headbadge background color?
What is the correct color of the background color for the 60/70s
silverplated Cinelli Speciale Corsa headbadge?
It looks black on all photos I've seen so far. Or could it be dark blue?
The older styles, 1950s, are definitely blue.
Did all Cinelli frame models share the same headbadge style?
The gallery at VeloBase is incomplete but, it covers some areas.

Here is a interesting photo:

These are a few of the photos that I took of the Cinelli badges and shop signs that I picked up in Italy about 8 years ago.
The early ones had blue backgrounds and were enamel on silver-plated brass. Then around 1960, give or take one year, they switched to a black background but maintained the enamel on silver-plated brass base. Then later in the 60's they switched over to painted badges and then ultimately to painted aluminum badges.

Thanks Citoyen du Monde, it's really interesting how Cinelli are trying to keep high quality but at the same time cut costs. They start out really expensive with enamel and silver-plating and end up with paint on aluminium.
Edit: The photo of all those old Cinelli badges is just crazy. Do you have a larger one? https://imgur.com is good for online storage of photos.

I've been told that the switch was more like 1968?

I collect Cinelli photos and the conclusion from those is that all frames until and including 1971 has got the calssic brass badge with silver-plating, but the frames from 1972 has got a aluminium badge. If the switch is right between the years or not I don't know. I have not yet found a bastard, a frame with a badge that brakes the pattern.
