I have a 2000 Vision R50 ( suspension ) and would like to convert it to over-the-seat steering. Anyone have a conversion kit out there? The catalog states that the part # for this was "AB40".
Also, I would like to hear from anyone who has ridden both the Vision and a Lightning P-38 and what they thought of each. I'm hoping that with the oss conversion that my Vision will mimic a P-38.
We had a suspended Vision with OSS. It was twitchy as hell to ride.

I agree with Vic: the SWB Vision had a much shorter wheelbase that the P-38.
When Vision was in business, they sold kits for that; but none of the stuff required is proprietary, so you can build-your-own. Jeff's suggested list of parts is just one of many combinations you could choose. The GlideFlex should definitely be a part of it, though; it's a high-quality item that won't wear out like the other cheaper ones you could find. My choices in riser and bars, though, would run more to what RANS offers:

I've never seen a Vision with Tweener bars before; but I'm sure that set-up could be done, too. You just have to round up the right parts! Hostelshoppe also has a lot of steering parts, both what's already been mentioned as well as other choices.
