Do your pants ride up when you ride a recumbent? Just curious.
Thanks.

No. But that's what Lycra is good for.
I wear very little spandex. I have found with some of my 'normal' shorts that they do tend at times to 'ride up' and bunch some. But it depends on the shorts.
Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of those things and still be calm. No, I wear jeans but I have the velcro leg bands that I always wear. No creeping.

On giving up:
Everyone knows that Christopher Columbus discovered the New World for Spain on his first voyage. But few people realize that on his 4th voyage, Columbus gave up, turned back and sailed for home; within 10 miles of where he could have discovered the Pacific Ocean.
If you don't like the tight spandex look, get the baggy shorts that have elastic leg bands underneath. HostellShoppe sells recumbent specific shorts.
I wear a pair of regular cycling shorts. Always. Keeps "everything" in place. Once I got a hornet up my thigh because I was wearing a loose fitting pair of shorts. BIG MISTAKE! Trying to get that sucker out of my shorts (with one hand, while moving along at 20 kph) resulted in multiple stings. Would suggest any pair of comfy shorts, as long as there is a snug cuff, just for protection. Mike
I still wear my PI bib shorts as I am a recent convert to the Dark Side. When they wear out, I'll buy another pair of bib shorts, although I won't need to worry about the quality of the chamois quite so much.

I don`t think I`ve ever had a problem with pants riding up in any situation, but I do have issues with my shorts when I ride my `bent that don`t come up for me on DFs. Specifically, they fill up like air socks when I`m moving fast or there`s a lot of wind. I try not to get super baggy clothes for the most part, but nothing tight fitting like many cyclists wear.
Yowza! Another reason not to wear baggy shorts!
Iwear lycra running shorts. They're a lot cheaper than bike shorts, and you don't need chamois padding when riding a recumbent. And no, they don't ride up.
With summer on the horizon, I'm dealing with the 'ride up' issue also, having recently moved to a lwb bent. My 'thing' is touring. Means weight and pack volume are issues. Beginning to think the solution may be thin wind pants, running pants, whatever they're called. Light, pack tight, dry quick, cool, no UV exposure to legs.
Swim shorts over spandex worked great on the DF and on the bent, but would like to eliminate the spandex altogether. Regular shorts at home, wind pants on tour?

No, but wind pants or shorts depending on the season so it's not really likely based on what I wear.
More importantly, when I opened this thread to read the first post, I thought you would be sharing the rest of the lyrics (thinking this was more a song thread, to the tune of "Do your ears hang low ..." ? So I'm guessing the answer to your problem is to tie them in a bow.

No. I use the Velcro bands around both ankles, and no problems.
Amy, I'll always remember you...... I miss you so much, for you filled my days with so much joy.
