    Hello Bike Forum

I guess I am a newbie on this site but am a veteran on the bike. I'm looking forward to getting and giving info on vintage bikes. Cheers!

    ?airhead?

greetings; I don't typically say much here unless I see someone is near me; which is very rare. In this case, however, I couldn't help but notice your username. I am a BMW fan and the two cylindar bikes from pre 1994 are called airheads. I'm just wondering if there is a connection to your username.

    OH! welcome to BF

    CruisinTX,
Yes, you are very astute, I do ride some BMW's. I have always been on something with 2 wheels and enjoy many of them still.

    My riders are as follows:

1962 BMW R60 with Watsonian Sidecar

    2006 Co-Motion Nor'wester, set up as a Randonneur Bike
2001 Pegoretti Palo Santo, my Double Century bike
1998 De Bernardi, this is my century bike
1988 Battaglin, fun for local rides
1983 Bianchi Nuovo Racer, the L'Eroica bike

    My Project bikes are:

    2008 Conago Master X-light, 11 speed Athena
    1984 Lino Messori, Super Record
1974 Hetchins Italia, Nuovo Record with wooden rims
    An Early 80's Sancineto
An Early 70's Legnano Gran Premio

Also, A 1932 Zundapp Record 200 that is mostly complete.

Well, thats the current list (always subject to change). I hope to participate more in the forum soon. Thanks for your interest!

ah, love those R100RS models. I think they may be the classiest of the airheads. As you can see in my sig lines, I have two oilheads and the R80S. While the oilheads out perform the R80 in every way, the old bike is still just as much fun to ride.
