70's era C.I.D. mystery bike - starting restoration

Greetings from Chapel Hill, NC. I've been seriously into riding bikes for 40+ years. Love riding on the road and trails. I'm getting ready to begin restoring a bike I bought (as a frame) in 1974 from Ridgewood Park Cycles in NJ.

They claimed the bike was a Bob Jackson, however, the decals said it was a C.I.D. Frame is Reynolds 531, with a Cinelli sloping fork crown and wrap around seat stay lug. The dropouts are Campy with eyelets.

Bike has a combination of Campy, Zeus, Shimano and Sugino parts from the 70's with a few updates, including a new seat, fenders, upright alloy bars and some ugly Schwinn brake leavers (they're light and work great with my DuraAce brakes -- still beautiful).

Would love to know who really made the bike -- it wasn't Bob Jackson (I checked, they have no record of the serial #).

Peace and love from Chapel Hill.
