Would you give the gift of mobility?

A few weeks ago, I was contacted through my Youtube channel by a young man looking for someone to build him some sort of power assist mobility device to carry him and his wheelchair.
Without going into detail here, I referred him to Atomiczombie.com where folks with the kind of design and fabricating skills needed to do such a thing hang out.
Well, some very capable people have stepped forward to make this project a reality, but they are in need of donations to defray expenses.
you can read all about how this has developed, including my involvement in it here.
https://forum.atomiczombie.com/showth...roject-Freedom
If you can help in any way, technically, logistically or financially, it would be much appreciated.
The Project Freedom donation page is now live at https://projectfreedom.bbnow.org/

Thanks.
Dan

My grandsons play in a basketball league that is organized by a local church. One week, at halftime a fellow gave a presentation about providing wheelchairs for people in 3rd world countries who otherwise have to literally crawl in the dirt. He said they can provide a no-frills chair for $40.00 or $50.00 so I paid for one.

I can't save the world but I can make one person's life a little better.
