Everyone knows that Christopher Columbus discovered the New World for Spain on his first voyage. But few people realize that on his 4th voyage, Columbus gave up, turned back and sailed for home; within 10 miles of where he could have discovered the Pacific Ocean.
It has all the right chemistry for a classic car-free romance.
Where did you see it? It was broadcast a while back. It's not on NetFlix. Not available to watch on PBS in the US.

A car- free romance? Sounds like a care-free romance. You have to love bikes.

One thing I notice about him is that he has North American style teeth. For some reason, the British (and I suppose the Europeans...) seem to have a more relaxed attitude as to what healthy teeth represent.

a spanish friend of mine, who visited Mexico, used to think that the celebrities' smiles on T.V. were fake until she came here.
I've also read that the British have a different attitude towards products they buy. A pair of running shoes with a bad stitch is an automatic return in the US, but in Britain, it makes the shoes more "unique".not only North Americans but Latin Americans too
