Does anybody out there know of a suitcase which will hold a Brompton and still weigh under 50 lbs. (for flying purposes)? I have a Brompton T-6 which weighs about 26 lbs. Most hard suitcases weigh about 15 lbs. so weight shouldn't be a problem. Finding one with the right dimensions is the problem. If I can't find something commercial I will have to have a case made, which will be more expensive.
Would the Bike Friday suitcase work for the Brompton? It doesn't weight a lot. I'm consistently under 50 pounds when I travel. I can get all my bike parts, locks, and the bike in it with no problems. And it comes with its own combination lock.

It's a Carlton suitcase. I incidentally have the same suitcase and also the next larger one and the Brompton doesn't fit in them. I think the Bike Friday is supposed to be disassembled somewhat to fit in the case, correct? I think the Brompton would be able to just be folded up and stuck in a suitcase, if I could find the right case.
