No decisions yet beyond Sunday's trip to Alamitos Bay for the farmers' market.

Today I rode from Maxwell Park in Anaheim over to the north end of the new (opened in December) section of Santiago Creek Trail and rode SCT to Main St (Santa Ana) and wandered back to Maxwell Park. Then a nice late lunch/early dinner with the BFFs.

No pie. Three flats, one broken water bottle top, one broken ear bud. Dropped twice, caught up twice. On the third flat, I told the group to go ahead and rode back solo.

Took the Metrolink up to Norwalk and rode back to Oceanside. It was my first time on the SGRT, that's a nice bike path.

The weather was absolutely perfect - we had a tailwind along the coast the entire ride home.

You haven't been on SART have you? We live 10 miles closer to SGRT than SART but only Ride SGRT when we really have to, forum ride etc.

Been riding 15 years, just about every weekend on SART consistently. So figure we've been on SART about 700-730 times and SGRT about 6 times. What does that tell ya?

Using the metrolink to setup a nice long one way trip, great idea! I'm gonna have to try that one weekend.

I think I'll try this. Were you able to put your bikes on the same car you rode on? How crowded was the train?
