I felt like a slug tonight and decided to cut my run short at 4.1 miles.

Sometimes I wish this wasn't necessary.

Looked at shoes yesterday. Seems everyone has some version of "barefoot"/"minimal" shoe. Adidas, Reebok, Puma Sketchers, New Balance, (didn't see Saucony or Asics version yet) but they still don't seem to be quite as good as Nike Free

1.6 miles run/walk yesterday, 1.5 today. Too cold and windy for me to want to ride my bike.

Dwellman, I am using the Saucony Kinvara2, a pretty minimal shoe, though not like the five fingers kind. I am happy so far. Though I have no real experience to compare the shoe against.

another 4.47 gives 85.85 miles (for the month) as of now. A little chilly and breezy. . . Almost had to hit the xopenex. Too much pollen and dust flying around these days. Officially down 20 since March 5

Good job everyone, just a little over one week left to get your mileage in before the end of the month. My running mileage is way down this month due to suspending my half marathon training and preparing for a metric century next week on the bike.

Possibly get to the 30 mile mark, more likely to be at the 25 miles though.

    Haven't run since Sunday.

Well that's not true. I made a go yesterday. Made it about a mile and realized I left the oven on. Oops. I'm not even going to count that.

I "should" get 7 today and that will get me 92 with 8 to go between Thurs, Fri, Sat, and finally, Sun.

Fowl weather forced an indoor gym run. Did a half mile elliptical warm up , followed by a 5k (3.1 mile) treadmill run.
